The national brand value of Russia has diminished by almost $150 billion over the last year since its invasion of Ukraine began in February, according to research released around the strength of national brands.

Released by research and insights consultancy Brand Value, the annual Nation Brands Value report highlights the top 100 countries. It revealed that over the last 12 months the United States’ brand grew by 47% to reach $26.5 trillion, ahead of China, which ranked second and grew by 8% to $21.5
